louisville-finals#NAACS14: Louisville's success in numbers

More than 1,200 people total attended (978 were paid registrations) C&S in Louisville.
No ifs, ands or buts, the 65th Annual International Conference and Show in Louisville was a smash success.

From the week's beginning -- when the Welcome Party at the Kentucky Derby Museum sold out at 900 people (the most since 2002 -- to the end when 978 total registrations were counted (with more than 1,200 attendees overall), every person contributed to turning the 2014 C&S into a positive momentum springboard heading forward.

And, as we put the wraps on the spectacle that was Louisville, some numbers from the C&S App, which drew solid if not rave reviews for its layout, usability and fun features:

585 active users; 19,979 likes; 2,375 status updates; 1,696 photos posted

Thank you to all who used the app and provided feedback throughout the week on ways to make it stronger moving forward as attention now shifts to the 66th Annual Conference and Show next July 14-18 in Addison, Texas!

hawaiiClass action claims U.S. Bank 'chilled' home auctions

Did U.S. Bank attempt to undermine the auction method in Hawaii?
U.S. Bank manipulated the market to suppress public participation, drive down the price of foreclosed real property at auction and defraud Hawaii homeowners, a class action claims in state court.
The 30-page lawsuit is a virtual "how to" manual on unfair foreclosure sales.
The lead plaintiff in the case says U.S. Bank "chilled competitive bidding" by changing the location of advertised auctions without publishing a new notice; changed auction dates with such frequency that most sale dates advertised were not the auction dates; changed sale dates unilaterally and without publishing notices of rescheduled actions' new dates and times.
Those are just some of the complaints levied against U.S. Bank in the case.
